Junior Cycle Geography - Amelia Grace

Hello My name is Amelia Grace and I'm currently in 3rd year sitting my Junior Cycle

Today I had Geography and here's a rundown of how that went. I was glad to open my paper and instantly be greeted by a nice easy topic of energy. I was also glad that chapters like the sea, glaciation and rivers didn't prominently feature the question on one feature of river deposition and I was delighted to be able to have an open question with an element of choice. Lots of maps featured but questions were mixed in from a number of topics. I was so pleased to see volcanoes featured as well as rocks. As expected climate change featured but was more common sense than I had thought. Luckily for me only one case study featured in detail and lots of human geography which was much appreciated! I was somewhat disappointed with the lack of diagrams with only 2 needed and a sketch map. I paired my colours for nothing! All in all the exam went well and the feeling was mutual among my friends and peers. I feel - despite being confident myself- the exam was levelled fairly and wasn't too difficult but also not too easy

That was my opinion on the Junior Cycle Geography paper 2023. I hope everyone else got on well and was happy with the paper.
