Junior Cycle Science - Jason Tamayo

Science is finally over.

I am amazed that the Science exam is finally finished after months of revising. Section A had 10 questions and was worth 150 points, while Section B had 5 questions and was worth 210 points. I chose Section B and attempted the 45-mark questions, and I was delighted with how the exam material was designed. It was really simple to read and understand.

I really liked Question 14, which was worth 45 points and had a tie to Science and Home Economics. Question 15 was a little difficult for me, but I completed all of the boxes, which I was very proud of. Question 1 and 2 were very straightforward and uncomplicated because I remembered them by heart from first year or it's just me who like the biology element of Science.

Question 9 perplexed me because I was unable to understand the ratio and formula, so I began writing random numbers for the ratio and both formula elements. Overall, I was impressed with how the exam paper was designed and how straightforward it was in comparison to previous years' exam papers. I can't wait until Junior Cert is over!
