Junior Cycle Home Economics - Jason Tamayo

Home Economics is over!

I was really confident going into the exam because my teacher was always pushing us to the utmost in order to earn a Higher Merit or Distinction. I liked how the exam was easy and straightforward, with Section A costing 80 points and Section B for 240 points. There were 13 questions in total, and they weren't too bad. I carefully examined the exam paper and knew I was prepared for it, but when I got to Question 1, I was taken aback because I had no idea what a fish pie was.

The exam paper was a mix of Science and English because we had to label the digestive system, which was a piece of cake. I didn't enjoy Question 12 since writing a long paragraph hurt my hand so much, but in no time, I had 30 minutes left and I felt really pleased of myself for finishing the exam. To summarise, the exam was quite simple and straightforward. I have one more exam before summer comes!
