I just finished the junior cert! It is amazing to be done and dusted with these exams and to know that all my hard work over the past three years was worth it. I wasn't nervous over the music exam as most of it is usually common sense and I've already completed 30% of the exam from my practical earlier in the year. The exam started with the star wars theme song playing, to test if we could all hear. The exam is lead intirely by a listening cd so there was no worry with timing. The listenings were very straightforward so I had loads of time to flick forward and complete the non listening questions. This meant that I had completed majority of the paper at 10:20. I was forced to wait for 20 minutes for the last couple of listenings to be played but that's on me for skipping ahead. I appreciated the use of ABBA in the exam and was bopping along to "slipping through my fingers". Overall the exam was grand and I'm overjoyed that it's summer!!!
