As a registered charity and incorporated company, our dedicated, expert and volunteer board members ensure the good corporate governance of the Irish Second-Level Students’ Union CLG.
The board of Directors ensure the organisation is being managed effectively and sustainably providing a strong and reliable organisation to allow the Student Officers to Support Student Voice.
The ISSU CLG is currently has several open positions on the Board of Directors, and are now taking applications from experienced individuals. Please note all candidates need to be over 18 and have relevant experience for each role. Applications are now live on Board Match.
Student Advocacy Director
The Irish Second-Level Students' Union CLG are seeking a trustee to act as a Student Advocacy Director. The Board are particularly interested in individuals with recent and relevant experience in/or knowledge of the Irish Second-Level Students’ Union.
Company Secretary
The Irish Second-Level Students' Union CLG are seeking a Company Secretary. The company secretary provides comprehensive legal and administrative support and guidance to the board of trustees. If you have experience in this area and want to play a role in Irish Second-Level Students' Union we’re keen to hear from you.
Finance Director
The Irish Second-Level Students’ Union is seeking an individual with proven knowledge in financial management or accountancy. Previous voluntary experience serving on a Board or Committee is desirable.
Fundraising Director
The Irish Second-Level Students’ Union is seeking an individual with proven knowledge and experience of fundraising in the NGO sector. Previous voluntary experience serving on a Board or Committee is desirable.
