Secretariat
The Secretariat consists of the staff members of ISSU. The Secretariat oversee the administrative work of the ISSU and engages with the work of the elected bodies. The Secretariat is based in the ISSU office in Liberty Hall, Dublin.

The ISSU Secretariat is made up of the following four roles:
Executive Director
Our Executive Director leads the ISSU Secretariat and liaises with the board to ensure the ISSU’s strategic goals are achieved, while also working on funding opportunities and engages with a variety of stakeholders.
National Student Voice Organisee,
Deputy Designated Liaison Person
The NSVO works with the Coiste Gnó and the MAC to help them in carrying out their work as national elected representatives and is the staff lead on running national ISSU events. Additionally, they deputise on Child Protection for ISSU.
Regional Student Voice Organiser,
Designated Liaison Person, Vetting Officer, & Data Protection Officer
The RSVO oversees and helps the ROB to achieve their goals. Luke also leads Child Protection, Vetting and Data Protection in the ISSU and is also the Skills Academy lead.
Clerical Officer
The Clerical Officer supports the day-to-day administrative and financial work of ISSU and assists the Secretariat team in delivering its core functions and services.
