What is Child Safeguarding

Child Protection and Safeguarding means ensuring safe practice and appropriate responses by workers and volunteers to concerns about the safety or welfare of children, including online concerns, should these arise. In accordance with the requirements of the Children First Act 2015 and Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children, ISSU’s Child Safeguarding Statement and Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy can be found below, along with additional readings.
